Halloween Costume Contest - Get Inspired

I love to make Halloween Costumes as many of you do. I have spent all of October working on costumes for my family...it's just so much fun. The Handmade Halloween Contest is in need of TEEN and ADULT costume entries...no one has entered...Win a great prize! Enter now!

I discovered if you are not that crafty, but want the handmade costume - you can buy them at etsy. I love these ones below.

Parenting also has many great kids costume ideas.
Here are a few photos of costumes I have made. The Vegas costumes took an entire month to make from scratch...no pattern. I made two - one for me and a black one for my friend. I can't even remember how I got those head pieces to stay up on our heads...made the whole thing. I still have it - it's like a piece of art! I made the black jack table from foam core board. There was a place on top to keep all his chips. I have to say it was fabulous!
I also made the Fred and Wilma Flintstone costumes without patterns. They were not as difficult.

Below, is my friend Julie and her friends in "The Birds" costumes. Julie works at McDonald's (not serving fries) and made these costumes for their annual Halloween Party!
