All you need is refrigerator sugar cookie dough and a bag of slivered almonds.
Slice cookie dough evenly and place five slivered almonds in a circle.
Bake as directed on the dough package. As an added touch - sprinkle brown sugar on the serving platter to look like sand!
I saw this in a recent issue of Semi-Homemade and made them myself - they turned out great!
