I printed the titles of my foods on a sheet of yellow card stalk - 8 1/2" x 11" that I found in the scrapbook section of Joann's. I space the titles so that there was plenty of room to cut them out in a nice shape.
I then made a simple template that I drew by hand on another piece of card stalk. Once I was happy with the shape I cut it out and used it to trace the shape on top of the food title sheet of paper. I then cut them out by hand.
I used a hole punch on the top and bottom of each sign and placed a bamboo skewer through the holes.
The fun part is that I made the base to make the sign stand up by cutting a lemon in half and placing the sharp end of the skewer in the lemon. A fun and easy way to make your summer table look great!
I do like to tablescape - after the party I created this fun Picnic Style Table using many of the items from my party. So on a rainy day...bring the picnic inside!
