Accessorizing With New Chairs

Today I am participating in Metamorphosis Monday hosted by Susan at Between Naps On The Porch. Be sure to check out her blog to see many more transformations.

I thought I would share my great new chairs I just purchased to put the finishing touches on my bedroom. Not that these wicker chairs aren't great...they just did not seem to fit my room anymore. I kept covering the cushions to match any new bedding I would buy. I had actually fell in love with some neutral slipper chairs a few years ago, but they happen to be very expensive so I never bought them.

The other day I was wondering through Pier 1 and spotted these beautiful chairs. I knew they needed to be mine. I brought one home to see if it looked good...thought it was a perfect match. I then had to call around to other stores to find another. I was lucky to get one as they are no longer available online.

I had bought these ruffle pillows in December to put out this spring, so it was a quick and easy to accessorize.

Love the pleated skirt!

And the tufted back.

A few other accessories...a glass vintage looking bottle.

I am still enjoying my vintage "Winter Frolic" snowman!

  5. The pillows are made of a silky fabric. I thought I posted a close-up...I guess I forgot to include that photo. I bought them at TJ Maxx. They were a great find!
