Cool Blue Table Setting

Today I am participating at Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps On The Porch. Be sure to check out all the other tablescapes there.

I did not have enough of everything to do a whole table so I did an individual table setting. I just bought a few of these great plates...not to use for dinner dishes, but to use as small serving platters. I love the square shape.

I fell in love with cobalt blue years ago, so I had some other items in the house to use with the plates.

I thought these candle holders where a little boring for a centerpiece...so I jazzed them up a little.

I went out to the yard an cut a few fresh greens and tied them with a little raffia.

I love the mix of patterns. I bought this silverware, with ceramic handles, when I first got married in the late 80's. I only have a couple of place settings...they were made by Ralph Lauren.

This is an old piece of marble that was part of the architectural detail on a building.

Great embossed blue glassware.

Small blue bud vase with a Day Lily is used at the edge of the plate.
