Vintage Spring Garden Party

Today I am participating in Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps On The Porch. Be sure to stop over and see all the wonderful tablescapes that everyone has shared.

I have recently been doing a little research on using vintage items in modern entertaining. Mixing it up a little with the old and the new. I have found some wonderful things that I will include in a future post. Today's tablescape is not my own, but an amazing Spring Garden Party I found at Quill Cottage. I can in no way take credit for this amazing table and unique use of table items. I just felt it needed to be shared. So please visit the Quill Cottage Blog and let her know your thoughts. There are many more photos of the table and a nice little story about the table and the items on it...Go Visit!

A lovely wooded yard makes for the perfect setting.

A multi level server adds interest to the table. I love these vintage lady vases...they are so fabulous. I just love how the flowers and greens make up their hats.

How clever is this toothbrush holder used to display the silverware and napkin.

A little tulle and a clip on earring adorn the stemware.

Vintage gloves filled with soaps and lotion make for a beautiful party favor.

Hope this party inspired you as much as it did me. Please visit Quill Cottage for many more lovely photos of this gorgeous table.
