Lemon Meringue Tablescape

Simple Sunny Yellow Tablescape. I didn't have much time this week, but with the forsythia blooming, I quickly put this bright table together. Can't go wrong with a bowl of fresh lemons.

I am participating in Tablescape Thursday's at Between Naps On The Porch. Please be sure to check out all the other great tablescapes there. I am also going to participate in Foodie Friday, so be sure to stop at Designs by Gollum for some wonderful food ideas.

I have these small glass yellow bowls that look like flowers...I placed a white linen and lace napkin inside.

Love these yellow swirl goblets. The candle holders are also made of swirling yellow glass.

I was at a loss for placemats. I didn't want to add another color into the tablescape, so I took a few sheets of tissue paper...cut out large circles and gently squished the centers together to add the folds and some texture to the paper. It's a little different, but I thought it worked. And they're disposable!!
