Fiesta Style Tablescape - Cinco De Mayo

This week is going to be a double post. First I am participating in Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps On The Porch and on Friday my own Bargain Find Friday...read about it here. So, this weeks theme is Cinco De Mayo...any excuse to have margaritas! I had a Cinco De Mayo ladies lunch last year to celebrate. It turned out to be a beautiful sunny day and everyone had a great time. Here is my festive tablescape and below there are a few photos from last years lunch.
I am going to add this post to Foodie Friday at Designs by Gollum. I see that I am a week early for the Cinco De Mayo post there, but maybe it will inspire someone! Her cake this week looks fantastic.
This centerpiece is so easy to put together. I found these hats last year at the dollar store...use a few small potted flowers inside and you have an instant centerpiece.

Bright dinner plates and festive napkins add to the mood.

Great festive liquor glasses add to the table...maybe for that extra shot of Tequila!

I also have this festive serving dish adding to the table theme.

Now this is where my Bargain Find Friday post begins. Again, I bought these great hats at the dollar store and bought contrasting Gerber Daisies to use as the centerpieces. I also bought these cactus margarita glasses there as well. They were a dollar each! I bought the table runner at Pier 1, used some funky candles and fresh vegetables to complete the center of my island, in the kitchen. I served the food "buffet style" and than everyone went into the dining room to eat. I was so busy with the guests I didn't remember to take pictures of everything.
