Christmas Cookie Exchange Invitations

I decided to have a Cookie Exchange and Lunch this year. This is the invitation that I created and sent out.

After looking for weeks for a nice Cookie Exchange Invitation and not finding anything, I came across these pretty blank note cards. The cards were blank inside so I was able to feed them through my printer before adding the decoration to the front.

They originally had a monogrammed “S” on the front. So I used a computer design program and made a type design with "Sweets & Treats Cookie Exchange" outlined in a box. I printed them on a nice textured paper and used scrapbook tabs to attach them to the card over the “S”. I then added a holly embellishment I found at Joanne Fabrics. I wanted them to have a more elegant look since I am also serving lunch.

I
f you need more information on how to run a Cookie Exchange or would like to get some ideas on what others have done at their Cookie Exchange than check out Robin's web site Cookie-Exchange.com. Along with the rules she has party games, cookie recipes and a message board where you can be in touch with others hosting an exchange.
