Easy Super Bowl Party Ideas - Steelers Theme Party

This Super Bowl Party inspiration comes from the last time the Steelers were in the Super Bowl. Amazingly enough...we are in it again!!! Of course any of these ideas can be applied to any team or childs football theme party. Picking up simple items, in team colors, is enough to get the theme going. Paired with great game day food and the party is a success!

I hit the dollar store and Joanne's with little expense. These pennant shapes are made from scrapbook paper and peel and stick letters. I hung a matching banner from the chandilier and together it spelled "GO STEELERS." I bought sparkly gold gift bag tinsel...using two vases...one inside the other, I placed the tinsel between the two vases and added fresh yellow roses. I had a few black feathers, so I added them for contrast, in with the roses. I also happened to have some green felt that I used as a table runner. If your feeling ambitious, you can add the white yard lines to the felt, giving it the look of "the field."

I used this great football print scrapbook paper and wrapped it around my candle holders and also lined the drink tray. Using matching football stickers, I applyed them to plain yellow napkins, tying it all together.

I borrowed the great yellow and black glassware from my mother and added a contrasting ribbon to each stem. Create identification markers by writing each persons name on the ribbon with a sharpie. I placed the round team logo plates on top of a solid square black plate to give them more stability. Most people will be serving themselves and moving about while watching the game. I tucked the napkin between the plates...one less thing to have to carry.

Here are a few great food ideas to serve. Cheese Football and crackers. How great are these Football Cupcakes! Find video instructions here.
