The Green Thumb

This is not really something I found for as a great bargain price, but something I decided to try this year...planting a small vegetable garden. I have a great love for planting flowers and have success with growing them...love to cut and bring them in the house. This is a whole lot cheaper than buying them at the store every week.

Anyway, I bought a few plants from the garden shop and planted a few things from seeds. This was completely experimental, but everything really took off. Of course part of the appeal was not to use pesticides to keep bugs away. I have sprayed them with soapy water a few times, but overall not too much bug damage. I did see today that the beatles were enjoying my basil...I will need to address this quickly.
