A Day In Paris

This is an adorable Paris themed birthday party for one lucky girl. Of course you don't have to be young to enjoy A Day In Paris Party. I think this is a great theme for a bridal shower, ladies lunch or even Mothers Day! Black, white and pink always makes for a very inviting color palette.

This party was created by In Little Hands and I will give you the party details in her own words.
While we waited for all of the guests to arrive, we did a little watercolor painting. I set up some easels and drew each girl a very simple picture. The table was set in black and white and pink with lots of fresh flowers and swirly patterns.

The cake was lavender with a black pattern stenciled on the sides. And a Marie made of fondant. I also made a tiny cat for each guest because nobody ever seems to want to eat the cake... just the decorations!

The girls sat down to a lunch of fresh baguettes, fruit, cheese, carrots, cucumbers and peanut butter and jelly Napoleons.

The craft for the party turned out to be huge fun. Before the party I drew a sketch of each guest on thick paper and cut out a few simple dress shapes from scrap paper. Each girl received their drawing, a few dresses and a jar with small buttons, rhinestones, sequins, bows, pieces of ribbon, scissors and a glue stick. The girls spread out all over the floor and went to work creating an outfit for their person.
